The 2STF mobile studio allows clients the freedom and convenience to choose when and where they would like to train. Also, this mode of training is touted and as one of the healthiest ways to train by many health professionals.

I'm Kenny Rogers, an ISSA certified Fitness Trainer, Specialist in Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Group Fitness, Exercise Therapy and Corrective Exercise. I work with people in the All-Greater Rochester area in becoming the best versions of themselves. I keep clients motivated by training in a more positive, passionate and enthusiastic style.

I’ve spent over 20 years in gyms in different capacities and trained personally for sports, weightlifting and bodybuilding competitions. Additionally I spent years as a fitness instructor and personal trainer working with hundreds of clients to attain their goals. Throughout the years  I have heard plenty of reasons that have kept people from getting and staying healthy. From juggling hectic work schedules, balancing family life, and overcoming countless gym frustrations, to endless experience and motivational deficiencies. My goal through 2STF is to eliminate these limiting factors by bringing my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the client.

I'm the first trainer to join Kenny Rogers on the 2nd Sucks Team

 I'm an ISSA certified Master Trainer. I have certifications in strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, senior fitness, group fitness, and nutritional coaching.

My passion, enthusiasm, and drive to live a fitness lifestyle has led me to discover my purpose - helping others to live a fitness lifestyle as well. There is nothing I love more than watching someone set a daunting goal, then, put in the work to achieve what they set out to do. This is what a fitness lifestyle is all about: positively transforming your physical, mental, and spiritual self, so you can become your best self. I am living proof of the incredible affects a fitness lifestyle can have on an individual. Who I am now, does not even remotely resemble who I once was. It’s not easy. It’s an investment that takes time to see the rewards from, but rest assured the payout is well worth the effort.

The very fact that you’re reading this bio right now means you're on the right track. And never forget, “starting the work is two thirds of it” (Welch adage).

A Healthier You

General fitness: This client chooses 2STF to recapture vitality lost in big part from the eight, nine, and 10+ hour days working. To them we are the answer to improving mood, reducing stress, gaining healthy lean body mass, reducing fat, reducing or eliminating medication’s, and improving relationships. This last part happens because we find when people cultivate healthy lifestyles – especially through fitness – they love themselves better, and that improves their relationships.

Exercise Therapy

Get back your life through fitness!

Exercise therapy and the aging population: People are living longer than ever, however, how many are living their best lives into their 60s, 70s, 80s, and even 90s? 2STF serves the aging population and their growing need for functional fitness. For some, simple tasks such as getting up and down from chairs and using stairs are difficult. Also, the threat of any kind of unleveled or unstable ground become life-threatening. We work with the these clients to develop a level of functional fitness to restore and maintain their autonomy. This empowers them and adds life to their years, not simply years to their life.

Sports Specific 

Hit that next level fitness conditioning 

Sports specific and the client seeking improved performance: Clients come to me looking to improve their fitness condition in various areas. Some come to improve speed, power, and strength for an upcoming sports season that may increase their chances of college scholarship offers. Others are training for an obstacle course race, or 10k and need improved endurance. I work with these client types to ensure they achieve their goals.

2nd Sucks Total Fitness offers indoor training as well!

Most of our clients train outdoors no matter the weather, however, we do have a brick and mortar fully equip to meet all training needs.

In 2013 I was 60lbs over weight. As a mom of 4 young children, I was ready to invest in my health. I could see and feel the changes in a matter of days, I was more productive than ever and for the first time as a mom, I wasn't tired all the time.Kenny's knowledge, tips, techhnique, and form is phenomenal. With step by step videos, Kenny taught me how to perform and excel at a whole other level to achieve my goals.Kenny has experience and knowledge that you can't put a price tag on. He is an investment in your health on the path to becoming the best version of yourself. Kenny built my confidence from the ground up, both in and outside of the gym.

I've spent a great portion of my life avoiding things that I didn't think I stood a chance at. I avoided challenges and consequently, I wasn't where I wanted to be. I was the guy everyone doubted, a waste of potential. Kenny Rogers motivated me to try new things, and soon I began to excel in my workouts and in life. My ambitions keep growing. I am so grateful Kenny Rogers stepped into my view and I haven't let him out of my sight. I can't because he's always in front of me and 2nd Sucks!

For over 10 years I had allowed myself become docile and comfortable, eating whatever I wanted with minimal exercise.  It got to a point where I felt disgusted with myself.  I knew I needed a change but lacked the skill and understanding to do it alone.  

My wife had told me about Kenny’s mobile personal training business and I decided to hire him to get my ass in gear.  The first time he backed into my driveway with his squat racks, barbells and the trademark 2nd Sucks tractor tire in the bed of the truck, I was both excited and nervous.  Little did I know, this was not just the start of my fitness journey but the beginning of a strong fellowship that has grown over time.

Kenny’s immeasurable knowledge of bodily anatomy, hypertrophy and nutrition, paired with his strong determination to help others change their lives, make him the perfect person to train with to craft and achieve any fitness goal.  Through working with him, I have learned the value and enjoyment of “chasing the hurt”, delayed gratification, putting in the work, and most importantly, prioritizing my health so I can become the 2.0 version I was meant to be.
